Inspector General of Police S.P Pani led the Police and Security forces officers in laying the floral tributes on the mortal remains of slain cop Deepak Thusoo at District Police Lines Srinagar on Thursday.
IG CRPF Zulfkar Hassan, DIG Central Kashmir Range V.K Birdi, DIG SSB R K Bhumal, DIG CRPF, SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail, Addl SP Srinagar and other officers of Police and Security forces and Jawans were present and paid tributes. Selection Grade Constable Deepak Thusoo was killed in a gun battle with militants. The slain cop is survived by aged parents, wife, son (12), daughter (7) and an unmarried sister.
